Make your own potato box
Here’s a little box paper-folding activity for you to try...
Our spuds are stored in big wooden boxes before they are washed and packed ready to go to the shops. We can put a whole tonne (that’s 1,000 kilogrammes) of potatoes in each one.
You can make your own mini version of a potato box with our fun paper-folding activity. Okay, it’s not really big enough to store spuds, but you could use it to keep little bits and bobs in.
We’ve made a sheet for you to print out, along with step by step instructions. There’s also a video that will show you how - instruction video link.
You could create your own box design and have different sizes. The main thing with this one is to start with a square piece of paper. Then you can be as creative as you like!
