Branston Varieties

A first early, firm-textured new / salad potato capable of producing high yields of small tubers. Early maturing and with fast skin-set.

An early maincrop variety with bright red skin finish and yellow flesh. Suitable for early harvests and storage but note the short dormancy.

Georgina is suitable for early harvesting or long-term storage. Some useful resistance to common scab and spraing but weak against virus, powdery scab and dry rot.

Inca Rosa is a S. phureja x S. tuberosum hybrid. Attributes include faster cooking, superb taste and a smooth texture.

This bold, cream fleshed variety which produces high yields of bakers.

Laura is suitable for usage both off-the-field through to long-term storage.

With firm flesh and waxy texture, Lucera is well suited to boiling or eating cold in salads.

Nemo is a cross between a Solanum Phureja (Inca Bella), and a S. tuberosum red salad, (Franceline).

Sherman produces very high yields of baking potatoes but needs careful monitoring to avoid oversize.
