Potato Agronomists go back to school
Trainee Agronomists Harry and Monika help Primary 2 and 3 children to plant potatoes
On 18 April two potato experts from the Scotland site went to share their growing skills with children at the local village school.
Trainee Agronomists Harry Imlay and Monika Podgorny visited Abernethy Primary School to help the children plant potatoes. It was part of a special Eco Day that had been organised by Primary 7 pupils.
Harry and Monika planted seed potatoes with a group of Primary 2 and 3 pupils. They're looking forward to returning to the school in August to help the children harvest the potatoes when they are ready.
